Some Truth About Happiness (II)

HAPPINESS IS NOT SOMETHING ACHIEVED. IT’S SOMETHING LEARNED.

Someone asked me yesterday: Do you think there is something wrong with me, that I can’t be happy?

My reply: No, there is nothing wrong with you. You just haven’t learned yet how to BE happy.

People often look at happiness as something to be achieved. It’s not. Rather, it is something learned through a process of choosing to BE happy over and over and over again. In all things and all ways, and in spite of your feelings or circumstances.

Happiness is an attitude. A perspective. A way of being. And most definitely a radical act of choosing.
